Items and listing activity prohibited on the focused IndianDeals gadget marketplace.

Prohibited items and activity

The following are prohibited. This list is illustrative and IndianDeals may prohibit additional items based on law, safety or platform scope.

  • Stolen, lost, misappropriated or unlawfully possessed property.
  • Counterfeit, replica, fake, deceptively branded or trademark-infringing gadgets/accessories.
  • Cloned, duplicated, tampered, blocked or blacklisted IMEI/serial-number devices.
  • Devices with unlawfully altered identifiers or documents.
  • Items obtained through fraud, theft, breach of trust, unauthorised company inventory, insurance fraud or unlawful import/smuggling.
  • Leased, rented, financed, employer-owned, repair-customer-owned or otherwise encumbered devices without lawful transferable title and complete disclosure; IndianDeals may reject them even with disclosure.
  • Devices containing illegal content, malware, spyware, stolen credentials, pirated activation tools or unlawful circumvention technology.
  • Illegal signal jammers, prohibited surveillance equipment, skimmers, cloned-payment equipment or devices primarily intended for cybercrime.
  • Recalled, hazardous, damaged or swollen batteries where sale would be unsafe, unless the platform expressly permits clearly labelled parts/recycling listings.
  • Weapons, drugs, alcohol, tobacco/nicotine, adult sexual products, wildlife products, hazardous chemicals, medicines, financial products, identity documents and all non-gadget categories outside the Platform’s approved scope.
  • Personal data, accounts, SIM cards registered to another person, banking credentials, OTP access, digital wallets, social-media accounts, software licences not lawfully transferable or stolen digital content.
  • Any product or listing prohibited by Indian law, court order, government direction, manufacturer restriction enforceable by law, or IndianDeals policy.
IndianDeals may report suspected criminal activity, preserve evidence and disclose relevant data to competent authorities as required or permitted by law.
